Lesson Two
I drew the same squirrel again and this time I think I got a better face. Of course, I drew it with my favorite charcoal pencil and used the tortillon for shading. The nut in his mouth, the tree stump and his tail were all painted with my Inktense pencils. I used negative shapes for making his tail.

Really beautiful squirrel. I hadn't noticed your blog site before. I don't know why its hard to get a squirrel's face 'right', but I have the same problem--you did a great job:):) Good coloring too.... very nice:):)

I love this little guy! You did an outstanding job on it. Looks just like a squirrel, see no problem in his face.
