The Bridge

This was the first watercolor painting that I completed when I was attending the Final Touch Art Studio in Cochrane. We had a great teacher named Sharon Kulhaby. There doesn't appear to be any art groups where we moved to so I joined on-line with Cathy Johnson. Our first lesson starts the week of March 27. I am also going to take Cathy's drawing classes online. Posted by Picasa

Ocean waves pounding the rocks

The was another lesson out of the 'rooster' book. I LOVE watercolor painting! Posted by Picasa

Rooster

I picked up a book at Chapters and this was one of the lessons. It was a lot of fun to do. Posted by Picasa

Chopping Block

Was sitting by the campfire and decided that a sketch of the chopping block just had to be done. Posted by Picasa

Raymond with an attitude!

Are you getting the idea that I only draw animals or people with an attitude? Raymond was a captive audience when we were camping so I drew him. He doesn't look too happy about it either! Posted by Picasa

Molly

Molly is also a miniature wirehaired dachshund who is 12 years old. She was born with a disfigured leg, crooked ear, her tail does not wag and her back is out of whack. The breeder said that she would have killed her on the spot when she was born, but another person had Molly's mom at the welping and she allowed her to live. And aren't we glad she did as Molly has brought a lot of enjoyment into our lives. Posted by Picasa

Dog with an attitude!

We were sitting outside the trailer when we were camping and I caught Zack sitting on Raymond's knee. He was looking at the world with an attutude and he sat still enough for me to draw him. He is a miniature wirehaired dachshund who thinks he is 6 feet tall. Posted by Picasa

Zack

Zack sat still long enough for me to draw him. Isn't he cute! Posted by Picasa
